Pricing and timeline

Our rates, how quotes work, and what happens in the first three months. Nothing starts until you have agreed to it.

What it costs

Hourly

$100 an hour

For advice, small fixes, website updates and ongoing work that changes from month to month.

  • Billed in 15-minute steps, with a timesheet attached to every invoice.
  • We estimate the hours before starting and check with you before going over.
  • There is no contract, and you can stop at any time.

Project quote

Fixed price per project

For a new website, a strategy plan or a set of fixes with a clear end point.

  • Describe what you need, and we will send a fixed price within two business days.
  • Half is paid up front and half on delivery.
  • If the scope grows, we quote the extra work before doing it.

Any engagement can begin with the free audit, so you see our work before paying for anything.
No long contracts
Hourly work stops when you say so. A project ends when it is delivered.

About guarantees

We do not guarantee rankings, because nobody controls Google's results. What we offer is simpler: there are no long contracts, so you can stop working with us at any time.

What happens, and when

  1. Kickoff

    We interview you

We meet with you, or with the person who knows the work best, and record the conversation. You know your industry better than we do, so the pages we write start from what you tell us.

  2. Weeks 1 to 2

    We measure your starting point

Before changing anything, we confirm that Search Console and analytics are set up correctly. A clear starting point is what lets us show progress later.

  3. Weeks 1 to 2

    We audit the site

Screaming Frog crawls the site, and Search Console shows what Google has indexed. Ahrefs maps your links and mentions. Our own scripts then combine the results into one ranked list.

  4. End of week 2

    We name the main problem

We write down, in one sentence, the main reason customers are not finding you. It might be a technical fault or a gap in your pages. That sentence goes at the top of your plan.

  5. First two weeks

    Quick fixes go first

Each finding is scored on its likely value and the effort it needs. Easy, valuable fixes are done first, while the slower work gets started.

  6. Day one onward

Work outside your site starts early

Listings, mentions and reviews on other sites take months to change. For that reason we start on them in the first week.

What you should see by month three

By the third month you should see more of your pages in Google, more appearances in search results, and better positions for your main searches. The list of open fixes should also be shorter. These are early signs, and new revenue usually follows later. We agree on the targets at kickoff and report against them from the first week.

  • Indexed pagesHow many of your pages Google has added to its index.
  • ImpressionsHow often you appear in search results. This usually rises before clicks do.
  • RankingsYour position for the searches that bring in customers.
  • Issues fixedProgress against the list from your audit.
  • AI citations and recommendationsMeasured on a fixed set of questions and reported as two separate numbers.
