Technical and on-page SEO
We find what's stopping Google from crawling, understanding and ranking your site. Then you get a ranked list of fixes, and we start on the top one.
What's included
- A full crawl in Screaming Frog, checked against what Search Console says is indexed.
- Site structure and internal links, so your important pages are easy to reach.
- Page speed, judged on real visitor data first and lab tests second.
- Structured data that describes what's actually on the page.
- Titles, headings and on-page copy tuned for the searches you want.
- Redirect planning for any move or rebuild. One hop, no chains.
What's not
- Rebuilding your site. That's our website design service, scoped on its own.
- Feature work that has nothing to do with search.
- Anything your platform won't allow. We check first and tell you.
What we need from you
- Access to Search Console and analytics, or someone who can grant it.
- Enough access to your site to make changes, or to write them up for your developer.
- One person who can sign off on changes going live.
The first few months
- 1Weeks 1 to 2
Baseline numbers pulled, the full crawl run, every finding scored, and the quick wins shipped.
- 2Weeks 3 to 6
Site structure and internal linking, plus the bigger fixes that need a release window.
- 3Weeks 7 to 12
Structured data, on-page passes on your key pages, and a fresh crawl compared to where we started.
Questions people ask first
Do you fix things or just tell us what is wrong?
We fix what we can get access to. Everything else gets written up clearly enough that your developer can do it without calling us. We agree on that split at kickoff, so nobody's surprised later.
Our site is on Squarespace. Is that a problem?
No. Plenty of small businesses run on a hosted platform or a locked theme. We check what your platform can do before we quote, so we never promise something it won't allow.
How long before technical work shows up in traffic?
Crawl and indexing fixes can show up within weeks. Bigger structural work usually shows by month three. We agree on the early signs to watch up front and report them from week one, so you can see progress from the start.
What does the fix list actually look like?
Every finding gets scored on how much traffic it could bring, how much work it is, and how confident we are it'll work. The easy, high-value fixes ship in the first two weeks. That's what earns the patience the slower work needs.
